Oye vey!

As per usual I am so behind on my blog updates. Kuddos to the mama's who can update theirs regularly, with all the chaos that comes with raising little ones, I don't know how you do it!
We recently returned from a beach vacation to the Washington coast, with Mia (my mama) in tow, and it was a wonderful little getaway!

Well, spring has sprung, and my early blooms, (daffodils and tulips) have bloomed, so pretty!
We are revving up for a busy summer: Gwyn starts soccer this week, Grafton begins soccer in May, and Gwyn starts dance in June - will be a busy, busy summer!
And of course, since the Glaser's never disappoint on the news front, some changes are afoot, potentially small or big, stay tuned...

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

Here we are, almost half way through December, and Christmas is just around the corner!
We've been in Washington for eight months now, and are really enjoying it!
Fall has flown by, and the weather is much like that of winter.

Gus turned ONE in September, and Grafton turned FOUR in November - my babies are growing up SO fast!!!

Gwyneth started first grade in September and is doing exceptionally well! She is the only child in her class that has been placed in a second grade reading group, we are very proud of her!

Grafton also started school in September (preschool) and is really enjoying it! I love all of the crafts that he creates and brings home, and am so proud of his name writing skills!

Gus is talking like crazy and it seems like he discovers a new word everyday.

We're looking forward to the Christmas holiday and enjoying lots of family time together!!!

Long overdue...

SO apparently I haven't had a post since March?!
Well, we've been in Washington state for two 1/2 months now, and things are going well. We LOVE our home (a vintage Victorian) and are really enjoying the weather! It's much cooler than the SW, though we shall see how we're feeling come winter, as we haven't experienced a real winter in a couple of years.
Summer has been busy. Gwyneth has joined cheer leading, and Grafton has joined gymnastics, and both are thoroughly enjoying it!
Mia & Papa came for a visit, and everyone enjoyed them being here!
We attended a friends wedding (which I did the photography for) over Dan's birthday weekend in the San Juan Islands (Orcas to be exact) and had a great time, and cannot wait to go back!
Gus has been crawling for a couple of months now - he says "hi, uh-oh, da-da, mama, I la-la(I love you)" waves hello, gives high-fives, and has started standing while holding onto furniture!
It's been quite the busy summer, we're looking forward to fall, Gwyn returning to school, and Grafton starting Preschool!

Winds of change, yet again...

Because the Glaser's are apparently incapable staying in one place for more than two years, off we go again...

We always knew (hoped) that Vegas would be a short term locale for our family, though we didn't quite anticipate where this stepping stone would take us. But we are pleased with the location, Washington state!!
Dan has accepted a new position with Washington River Protection Solutions, where he will be their resident Geophysicist. It's an exciting new opportunity, and our family is thrilled that we'll be living in a place more suited to our (outdoor) lifestyle.
Dan's time with the EPA has been great, and he's really enjoyed doing research and had hoped to transfer with his current position somewhere in the Northeast, though that is not a possibility at this time.
So, changes they are a comin' and we are excited to embark on them! We plan to stay in WA, and set up some roots for a while!!!!!!

2011 is here!

Wow, 2010 flew by which is odd considering that I was pregnant through most of it, and it felt like the longest pregnancy, EVER!

We made it through our first year in living in Las Vegas. While it's not our first (or second for that matter) of US locations to live, it hasn't been too bad at all.
Gwyn started Kindergarten here, Dan is happy in his job, and of course our little Gus was born here. It's also nice to have my family and friends within a 5 hour drive too!
We don't intend to stay here too long, but it is a stepping stone in Dan's career, and we've made some nice friends as well.
We still want a nice home in New England, with acreage to raise our family, but know that sometimes you have to make sacrifices for things you want, and are willing to put in the work to get there - so long as it doesn't take too long. : )

We are hopeful for all the wonderful things the New Year brings, and are grateful for those we received in 2010 as well!

Here are some recent pics we've taken:
